The Dutch Economics Education Review 2024 maps the content and wider approach of the ten economics bachelor programs taught at research universities in the Netherlands.
Given the severity of today’s societal challenges and the key position of economists in addressing them, our economics bachelor programs are vital institutions. The primary reason for writing this report was to document these programs’ evolution, and to facilitate further developments.
We are proud to highlight in this report the many steps that Dutch economics departments have taken over the past years, to list best practices that are emerging, and to map out where there is room for further progress.
